I’ve been using these ASL flash cards with Zolan and has made it much more fun & easier teaching him new signs. I’ve started incorporating two new words a week (we had taken a small break). If he’s still having difficulty with the words of the week I continue with the same two words the following week before adding new ones. This seems to be working best for him. I’ve been teaching him sign language for a while now and he just keeps getting better and better with practice & repetition. He still has a hard time pronouncing words but he will get there! He’s so smart, determined and willing and I know one day he’ll be able to communicate with me (and everyone) in full sentences. And when that time comes this mama will be crying like a baby!
