We are currently hiring for:

Staff Accountant in Greensboro, NC

The Staff Accountant supports and maintains the goals of the Company as it relates to the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and month-end general ledger functions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

  • Process accounts payable, inventory 3-way match, company credit cards, and expense reports.
  • Process W-9s and 1099s.
  • Update daily cash register.
  • Process vendor payments via ACH, wire, and check.
  • Process returns and credit memos.
  • Assist with sales tax filings, property tax returns, and other ad hoc returns/filings.
  • Assist with company and departmental audits.
  • Maintain a record of all company contracts.
  • Maintain open communication with other departments involving issues with invoices.
  • Keep supervisor informed of problems or issues with vendors.
  • Maintain professional relationship with vendors.

Accounts Receivable & Deductions

  • Process daily bank and lockbox deposits.
  • Responsible for AR cash application, net downs, adjustments, and AR record keeping.
  • Process/bill manual bankcards.
  • Oversee/research deductions taken by customers, including communication with all parties (external and internal).
  • Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly bank reporting.

General Ledger

  • Assist in closing procedures at month end.
  • Perform monthly analysis of account balances and prepare journal entries to record business transactions.
  • Maintain reconciliations for key general ledger accounts and provide financial reports.
  • Provide financial information to finance and business teams as necessary.
  • Assist with company and departmental audits.

Education, Experience, and Abilities:

  • Moderate level of Excel skills; advanced PC skills and systems knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills
  • Ability to be flexible with extended work hours as necessary
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work well independently and with others
  • Strong integrity, and a positive attitude
  • Associate degree in Accounting or Finance; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–5 years of related experience

Replenisher/Forklift Operator in Greensboro, NC

The Replenisher/Forklift Operator performs assigned duties, associated with receiving, unpacking, storing, and replenishment of finished goods in a team-oriented, fast-paced warehouse environment while having knowledge of material part numbers and understanding the clerical work associated with the position.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to operate forklift equipment including narrow aisle reach lift, cherry picker, and power hand jacks
  • Follow daily replenishing reports set by Replenishing Lead
  • Meet established efficiency goals and department standards
  • Remain knowledgeable of E-WMS and ERP systems
  • Must maintain daily inspection check-off sheet
  • Must maintain weekly watering inspection check-off sheet
  • Maintain communication with Lead(s) on a daily basis
  • Position may require flexibility to change positions as needed and may require overtime and/or flexible work shifts

Education, Experience, and Abilities:

  • Equivalent to a high school diploma
  • 1–3 years of related experience
  • Competence in the operation of warehouse equipment
  • Forklift Certification (required)

Physical Requirements:

  • Good vision, speaking, and writing ability
  • Ability to sit, stand, and operate computers and other company hardware and software
  • Frequent light to moderate physical effort required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Manual dexterity
