Account Manager

Carson Dellosa Education is seeking self-motivated and goal-oriented Account Manager to join our Sales team. In this role, you will be accountable for sales revenue and managing sales and marketing initiatives for assigned accounts.

As an ambitious self-starter, you are passionate about business development and building relationships with customers to grow accounts. It’s time to take your initiative and sales/consumer product experience into a new role. This is a good opportunity for associate level sales experience in aggressive industry or CPG Product Managers who would like to transition into Sales.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving or exceeding sales revenue goals as assigned by corporate.
  • Responsible for Sales and Marketing initiatives of new and existing product lines under Carson Dellosa brands while maintaining and improving relationships with accounts.
  • Plan and schedule appointments with assigned customers, including, but not limited to, a face-to-face visit and via telephone.
  • Conduct appropriate marketplace research analysis. Report findings such as details of the competitive set, specific in-store merchandising needs, and recommendations for pricing and packaging strategies.
  • Identify new opportunities based on corporate objectives and recommend strategic solutions that meet and exceed corporate revenue and profitability objects. Transition accounts to higher gross margin products.
  • Recommend product development opportunities including creative direction through final development of concept. Collaborate with Finance, Product Development, Marketing, Inventory, and Operations as related to all facets to meet margin and production schedules.
  • Strategically plan most effective use of Business Development Funds as budgeted to each sales representative.
  • Identify and/or assist with customer issues and concerns.
  • Source and negotiate distributor or agency contracts.
  • Collaborate with appropriate staff to evaluate sales by series to maximize sales turns and reduce returns.
  • Responsible for variety of reports and administrative paperwork including the following: expense reports, travel log, status reports, sales incentive worksheets, and bi-monthly forecast projections.

Education, Experience, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2–3 years of experience with sales, consumer products, or product development.
  • Experience with retail partners in the craft, grocery store, drugstore, and club channels a plus.
  • Knowledge of back-to-school selling cycle a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Travel required.

Replenisher/Forklift Operator in Greensboro, NC

The Replenisher/Forklift Operator performs assigned duties, associated with receiving, unpacking, storing, and replenishment of finished goods in a team-oriented, fast-paced warehouse environment while having knowledge of material part numbers and understanding the clerical work associated with the position.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to operate forklift equipment including narrow aisle reach lift, cherry picker, and power hand jacks
  • Follow daily replenishing reports set by Replenishing Lead
  • Meet established efficiency goals and department standards
  • Remain knowledgeable of E-WMS and ERP systems
  • Must maintain daily inspection check off sheet
  • Must maintain weekly watering inspection check off sheet
  • Maintain communication with Lead(s) on a daily basis
  • Position may require flexibility to change positions as needed and may require overtime and/or flexible work shifts

Education, Experience, and Abilities:

  • Equivalent to a high school diploma
  • 1–3 years of related experience
  • Competence in the operation of warehouse equipment
  • Forklift Certification (required)

Physical Requirements:

  • Good vision, speaking, and writing ability
  • Ability to sit, stand, and operate computers and other company hardware and software
  • Frequent light to moderate physical effort required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Manual dexterity
