Spanish/English Read & Understand Science, Grades 4–6+ contains 29 two-page fiction and nonfiction reading selections that present science content for:

• life science
• physical science
• earth and space science
• science and technology

Three pages of reproducible follow-up activities for each selection focus on essential reading and language arts skills, including:

• comprehension
• vocabulary

Each reproducible story and related exercises are presented side by side in both languages. The selections range in difficulty from the beginning of Grade 4 through Grade 6+. The reproducible skill pages are ideal for focused instruction with small or large groups or for students to complete independently.

Each story addresses objectives drawn form the National Science Education Standards.
