The Understanding Nonfiction Text Features chart set features four charts that identify the most common text features of nonfiction writing. Chart number one is an overview of text features. The remaining three charts feature the specific types of informational text such as print (bold, italics, font), indexes, glossaries, tables of contents, captions, headings, charts/tables, and sidebars. Understanding Nonfiction Text Features supports the Common Core State Standards. Includes a resource guide with display tips, suggested activities, and worksheets.
