Writers, Designers, and Artists:
We no longer accept unsolicited manuscripts.
To become an independent contractor for Carson-Dellosa, we ask that you please submit samples and a résumé for review. If you have samples from supplemental education materials, please send those. However, we will accept all types of samples.
- Writers, your samples should be no longer than five pages in length. Digital writing samples should be provided in Adobe® PDF, Microsoft® Word, or Plain TXT format.

Artists, if you have both line art and four-color art samples, please send both types. We typically show images of children (grades PK–5) and animals. Individual digital art samples should be collected and provided in a single .zip archive. Images should be saved at 72 dpi in GIF or JPG format.
Please limit the total size of attachments to no more than 10MB.

We will only accept nonreturnable materials for initial review. Please do not submit original materials or materials you wish to have returned.
No phone calls, please. Once we receive the materials, we will route them internally for approval. If your samples are approved, we will enter them into a searchable database along with your contact information. Carson-Dellosa Publishing will contact you when a project that suits your skill set becomes available. Contracts will be negotiated on a per-project basis, prior to publication.
