Travel the world in your summer program! All Over the World is a dynamic global literacy curriculum for upper-elementary and middle-school age youth. This program is designed to engage youth in a variety of issues through the eyes of young people around the world. Participants will complete experiential learning activities, collaborative research, and an interactive culminating event. All Over the World teaches cultural sensitivity and provides young people with tools to increase their understanding of and curiosity about the world. The All Over the World curriculum features: - A user-friendly facilitator's guide for summer and after-school program staff, teachers, and educators desiring to bring global literacy into their program
- Twelve flexible session plans for 12 to 20 students
- A series of developmentally appropriate, hands-on activities that cater to various learning styles
- Expedition Exposition, a youth-led culminating event that allows participants to share their expertise with friends, family, and community members
